Who are we adding?
Their first name is enough — it's what they'll see when they sign in.
When were they born?
This sets their exact year group automatically — Year 7, 8 or 9 within Key Stage 3, for instance — so every lesson and test lands at the right level. No guessing.

How will they sign in?
A username they'll remember and a 4-digit PIN. They'll use these with your family code — no email address needed for a child.

You can change any of this later from their profile.
These are core to the National Curriculum, so they're always on.

Untick both and no language appears anywhere for this child.
Where do they go to school?
Both optional. The school name only ever shows a "same school" badge in the Local League — it is never shown to other families, and never used to contact anyone.
